Vnisha is a techno business professional with over 4 years of experience in various capacities and roles in Media & Entertainment and BFSI industries. She also has years of experience in community building, outreach and mentoring. Vnisha helped build an active Mozilla community in Uttar Pradesh. She is also the Founder and Community Liaison at Mozilla Uttar Pradesh apart from being an official Mozilla Representative. Mozilla Reps is a program aimed at empowering community members around the world who want to become official representatives of Mozilla in their respective regions/locale & take forward the Mozilla mission: promoting openness, innovation & opportunity on the web. Mozilla Uttar Pradesh was born as an effort to bring together, in one community, the users, translators, designers, developers and anyone part of the Mozilla and Open Web technologies in Uttar Pradesh to work together on a set of well-defined goals with a purpose to improve and grow.Vnisha believes that Web Literacy is essential and should be the fundamental right for every individual. Web Literacy is one of the skills and competencies needed for reading, writing, and participating on the Web. She has also established a Mozilla Club in Uttar Pradesh and is the club captain. The club members meet regularly in-person to learn how to read, write and participate on the Web in an engaging and inclusive way. She is also a Shaper at the Global Shapers Community Lucknow. Global Shapers Community is an initiative of the World Economic Forum. The Global Shapers Community is a network of Hubs developed and led by young people who are exceptional in their potential, their achievements and their drive to make a contribution to their communities.
